An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Lady Windermere's Fan, the 1925 Ernst Lubitsch romantic upper crust English royalty comedy ("From the play by Oscar Wilde", but changed in subtle ways because this was a silent movie, so Wilde's dialog had to be shortened; about an English lord who starts an affair with a married Lady, and her reputation is about to be ruined, but a woman takes the blame instead, and it turns out the woman is the Lady's mother) starring Ronald Colman ("by arrangement with Samuel Goldwyn"), Irene Rich, May McAvoy (in the title role as Lady Windmere), Bert Lytell, and Edward Martindel

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this title card, and that card has been reconsigned to us, so this is still the only example we have ever auctioned! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There is faint water staining in the right half of the bottom border, with some very tiny tears and a tiny bit of paper loss in the right of that area, and someone put tape on the back of the tiny tears. There is a tape repair on the back of the top right blank corner and paper loss in the bottom left blank corner. The card has slightly darkened around the edges. Other than the above defects, which are primarily in the blank borders, the card is in pretty good condition.
