The first motion picture from the creators of 'The Bridge On The River Kwai.'"; "A mighty spectacle of action and adventure!"; produced by Sam Spiegel and David Lean; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Alec Guinness, Anthony Quinn, Jack Hawkins, Jose Ferrer, Anthony Quayle, Claude Rains, Arthur Kennedy, Omar Sharif (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; "as 'Ali'"), Peter O'Toole (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role as T.E. Important Added Info: Note that when this classic movie had its first limited "roadshow" release, a special set of 12 deluxe full color lobby cards were created. Each of these have no writing on them except for a small "PRINTED IN U.S.A." at bottom right, and they have an unusual "laminate-like" coating on the front (but the cards are NOT laminated, and the coating is not on the back, and it is how the cards were created). Once the movie went into its general release, a set of regular lobby cards were created. All of these 12 roadshow lobby cards are "scenes", with no title card. These roadshow cards are incredibly rare! Condition: good. There is staining in the extreme outer edge of all the blank borders (the card was likely displayed in a frame). There are creases and tiny tears scattered in the borders, with some tiny scuffs and faint dot stains scattered in the image. There was a 1" tear in the lower right border that was repaired with tape from the back. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this card.
