He was "Cookie" to Roy Rogers in ten movies, and also "Jingles" to Guy Madison's Wild Bill Hickok in a popular radio and TV series, and probably his best remembered movie role was in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. He not only appeared in over 400 movies, but he also hosted a children's show called "Andy's Gang", which has cult status and which also featured Froggy the Magic Gremlin! He passed away in 1977 at the age of 71. Important Added Info: Note that it is extremely likely that this is a "key book" still, and it is virtually a certainty that the punch holes were put there by the studio at the time the still was created, so they are not a defect.
