An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Amanda Blake was an actress from the 1950s to the 1980s. She had limited success in movies starting in 1950, and she started doing some television, and in 1955, she was cast as "Miss Kitty" in TV's "Gunsmoke", and she played that part throughout the entire series until 1974! Some of her movies include: The Boost, A Star is Born, and Stars in my Crown. She passed away in 1989 from hepatitis brought on by AIDS (her husband was openly bisexual, and passed away from AIDS complications in 1985). She was 60 years old. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Amanda Blake! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Condition: very good.
