An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

The Country Girl, the classic 1954 George Seaton (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) life-in-the-theater stage acting alcoholism romantic love triangle melodrama ("From the Play by Clifford Odets"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Bing Crosby (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Grace Kelly (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), William Holden, Anthony Ross, Gene Reynolds, and Robert Kent

Condition: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at the top crossfold and many tiny tears and tiny areas of paper loss in the vertical foldline, with a lesser number of tears in the top and middle horizontal foldlines. There were pinholes, tears, and creases around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (any restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
