Saturday's Millions, the 1933 Edward Sedgwick college football sports romantic blackmail gambling melodrama ("The Year's Football Romance"; "From the Saturday Evening Post story by Lucian Cary"; produced by Carl Laemmle, Jr.; about a major college football star who does not really care for the game, and he meets a woman who does not seem to realize what a big star he is, but it turns out she has gotten involved with him so as to blackmail him into throwing the game!; her gambler husband breaks the football star's hand when he refuses to go along with their scheme, but then he goes ahead and plays with the broken hand, concealing it from the coach, and of course, he plays the game of his life) starring Robert Young, Leila Hyams, Johnny Mack Brown, Andy Devine, Lucille Lund ("The all American Girl"), Mary Carlisle, Grant Mitchell and "All America Football Stars"
