An Unfolded French Advertising Poster (measures 19" x 28 3/4" [48 x 73 cm]) (Learn More) La Fusil Darne (literally translates to "The Darne Rifle"), the 1948 French advertising poster promoting a brand of shotgun, and featuring art of a hunter firing the weapon at several birds by Leonetto Cappiello. Note that the design for this poster was actually created in the late 1930s (using artwork created in 1929), but the poster was not printed until 1948 (6 years after Leonetto Cappiello's death). Artist: Leonetto Cappiello Condition: very good to fine. The poster has never been folded (it was lightly folded back horizontally at center at one time but there is only a very light crease and not an actual fold in that area) and it is in pretty nice condition!
