An Original 1980 Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 11 1/2" x 14 1/2" [29 x 37 cm]; 4 pages). Also included is an ad supplement that has 3 pages. (Learn More) Zombi 2 (released in the U.S. in 1980 as "Zombie"; also released as "Zombie Flesh Eaters" and "Island of the Living Dead"), the 1979 Lucio Fulci Italian undead zombie walking-dead horror thriller ("We are going to eat you!"; "...the dead are among us!"; "When the earth spits out the Dead... They will return to tear the flesh of the Living..."; "There is no explicit sex in this picture. However, there are scenes of violence which may be considered shocking. No one under 17 will be admitted."; "Story and Screenplay by Elisa Briganti") starring Ian McCulloch, Tisa Farrow, Richard Johnson, Al Cliver, Auretta Gay, and Olga Karlatos. Note that the title Zombi 2 was used to make people think this was a sequel to Dawn of the Dead, which was released in Italy and other countries as Zombi NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed.
