An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

Mr. Chump, the 1938 William Clemens romantic banking stock market musical trumpet comedy (about a lazy young man who would rather play his trumpet than work; however, he has a stock market system that seems unbeatable, but when some bank employees embezzle money to try it out, they lose everything, but the young man saves the day and wins the love of a pretty girl) starring Johnnie Davis, Lola Lane, Penny Singleton, Donald Briggs, and Chester Clute. Note that Johnnie Davis was a real "swing" record and radio star, a member of Fred Waring's Pennsylvanians.

Condition: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at the crossfolds and creases and small tears along several foldlines. There were creases and tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the restoration along the foldlines.
