Enlist in the Navy, the 1917 U.S. World War I (WWI) recruitment poster encouraging people to enlist in the U.S. Navy, and featuring Henry Reuterdahl, U.S.N.R.F. art of an American sailor among sailors from five other countries (Japan, France, Australia, Russia, and Mexico). Of course, it is interesting that just 24 years later, the U.S. would be attacked by Japan, which at this point was their ally! We once sold another example of this poster that measured the same size as this one, but we also sold another one that had extremely wide blank borders, but we think that was some sort of test poster. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some folds, with some tears around the edges.
