They Give Their Lives, the 1918 U.S. World War I (WWI) War Bond poster ("Do you lend your savings?"; "W.S.S. War Savings Stamps issued by the United States government") encouraging citizens to support the war efforts, and featuring H. Devitt Welsh artwork of several crosses on a hilltop.
