An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Lady Robinhood, the 1925 Ralph Ince silent Spain masked female hero mystery crime thriller (a version of the classic Robin Hood story, but with a female in the lead role!) starring Evelyn Brent (as Senorita Catalina/La Ortiga), Robert Ellis, Boris Karloff (in an early silent role!), William Humphrey, and D'Arcy Corrigan. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release movie paper on this title is incredibly rare. We have never had a single poster, but we have had four lobby cards, one of which showed Boris Karloff. Now, we have been consigned this great still, which shows Karloff as well! Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: very good. There is a tiny "bump" near the center of the left blank border, and the top edge is slightly "rough", because it was trimmed at some point, but the still measures 8" high, so perhaps it was 8 1/4" to begin with, and someone did this so it would fit a frame. Also, the still was printed slightly off center, which causes the image to be at a slight angle. This was a somewhat common printing defect in vintage stills, and most collectors do not consider it a major defect if it is only slightly off center as it is in this case.
