An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Elgin Baylor is a legendary black African American former NBA professional basketball sports player and coach from 1958 to 1979. Baylor played for the Minneapolis/Los Angeles Lakers as small forward for 14 seasons before taking the job as head coach for the New Orleans Jazz. Baylor was an 11 time NBA All-Star, and helped lead the Lakers to the NBA Finals 8 times! As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 86! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Elgin Baylor! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall!
