When she was 17, she won a Tunisian beauty contest at the Italian embassy, and the prize was a trip to Rome, where she was signed to a contract. But she became pregnant out of wedlock at that time, and she secretly gave birth to a boy, and he was raised as her younger brother, and did not learn she was his mother until he was 19! She became an international star in 1963 after her role in 8 1/2. Some of her other movies include: Once Upon a Time in the West, The Professionals, and Big Deal on Madonna Street. As of 2022, she is still alive at the age of 84! Important Added Info: Note that this is a "studio-issued" transparency. What is it? It was produced by the studio but is not the camera original. It is very high quality and was created in quantity by the studios and sent to media outlets or other places that had need of the very highest quality image for reproduction purposes (in newspapers, magazines, or elsewhere). The transparency is in a plastic sleeve (but we removed it and scanned it so that bidders could see just how high quality it is). It will be sent to the winner of the auction in its plastic sleeve. Condition: good. The color of the transparency has "shifted" from how it originally was, but otherwise, it is in nice condition. The image can be "color corrected" to look as it originally was.
