Note that although this movie was originally made in 1944, most of the movie paper advertising has a 1945 copyright on it, and the movie was not actually finally released until 1946! The poster was never folded. There were some creases and scuffs scattered in the image (including a long one that ran from the bottom of Lake's hair through the bottom of Tuft's forehead). There were smudges in the yellow background areas and faint ones in the stars' faces. There were creases, smudges, and tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
