Artist: Tom Jung Important Added Info: Note that, due to the immense popularity of this movie, there were FOUR different printings of this "style A" one-sheet poster! The first printing had the original NSS number of 77-21-0, while the next three printings had the 77-21 NSS number. The first three printings all had "Style A" printed in the bottom border, while the fourth printing did not. There are also reproductions of this poster, but the poster offered here is an original poster from the second printing! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had creases, tiny tears, and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of several folds. It had an uneven vertical tear extending from 1" to the right of the top center of the poster down at a slight diagonal to the top horizontal fold 2" to the right of the top crossfold. There were diagonal scuffs in the area to the right of Hamill's hands. There were pinholes, tears, and some paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed by a top professional, and they did much to improve the appearance of the poster, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
