An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 12" x 18" [30 x 46 cm]) (Learn More) Romany "Where Love Runs Wild", the 1919 silent gypsy romantic musical melodrama ("A Gypsy picture with real Gypsies") starring Marie Doro, Ruth Clifford, and Edith Hallor. Note that we can find very little information about this film. A 1919 newspaper claimed that it featured the stars listed above but we can find no confirmation of this anywhere. Also from newspapers, the film was "an American picture made in Scotland" because the needed scenery and atmosphere was not available in the United States. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a different example of this window card (which had several inches of the top of the card above the woman's head trimmed off), and NO other movie paper until we received this window card! Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 12" x 18" [30 x 46 cm]. Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: fair. The card was trimmed and it has some stains scattered throughout. It has tears and some paper loss around the edges and tape repairs on the back. Learn More about condition grades
