An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Capt. E.A. Salisbury's Ra-Mu (King of the Sun), the 1934 Edward A. Salisbury South Seas tropical island travelogue documentary narrated by William Peck. Note that this travelogue included footage of the Polynesia islands, Singapore, Java, Bali, Arabia, and Ethiopia. There is evidence that this movie takes footage from an earlier 1929 silent film "Ra-Mu: Children of the Sun", and combined it with new footage and narration. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that this card contains partially unclothed native women, so we have placed white bars over those areas, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual card does not have those white bars! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. There are lines of diagonal staining in the card and stains in the center. There are other stains around the edges with paper loss in the top corners. It is quite possible that some or much of the staining can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration, this card will look fantastic! Learn More about condition grades
