Hill silent London England fantasy science fiction (sci-fi) crime detective mystery action adventure serial ("Universal Junior Jewel") starring Hayden Stevenson (in the title role as retired Scotland Yard inspector "Angus Blake"), Grace Cunard (as the Queen of Diamonds), Gloria Grey, Herbert Prior, and Monte Montague. Note that a knowledgeable collector tells us that the plot of this serial involves Blake being called upon for assistance by the daughter of an inventor who created a process by which other metals can be turned into gold. However, a mysterious criminal called "The Scorpion" or "The Spider" (there is conflicting information) tries to steal the invention. Also, note that this is a "lost" serial, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1927 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned any movie posters from this movie (only a few scene cards and a stock title card that was very different from this one) until we received this great title lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are some tiny black dot stains scattered in the left and right of the title, as well as some in the face of the man in the oval area. There are some similar tiny stains in the bottom right of the image extending into the border areas. Other than the above staining, the card is in nice condition.
