Timely Bombshell!"; "Original screen play by Robert Rossen and Leonard Bercovici"; Bogart is a gangster who muscles into the trucking business and when he catches a desperate employee stealing to support his pregnant wife, he blackmails the poor guy into joining his crooked enterprise!) starring Humphrey Bogart, George Brent, Gloria Dickson, Allen Jenkins, and Walter Abel. Note that the film's story was inspired by real-life headlines about New York District Attorney Thomas Dewey (future Republican presidential nominee) and his fight against organized crime. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds, with tears and tiny paper loss in the part of the vertical fold between those two crossfolds, and a lesser amount on the bottom two horizontal folds and in the rest of the vertical fold. There were pinholes, tears, and surface paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but at some point after it was backed, it was handled roughly, and there are now creases in the bottom 2" of the poster, both in the linen and in the poster itself, extending into the blue background area.
