Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. Someone trimmed the left and right of the poster, removing the blank borders and also slightly extending into the edges of the image (a total of 1 1/4" was trimmed from the two sides combined). The poster had tape stains in the corners and minor wear on the folds. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
