Auction History Result 6m280 LOT OF 17 MOSTLY 1940S-50S 8X10 STILLS '40s-50s scenes from a variety of different movies! Date Sold 5/7/2017 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 17 8x10 stills, mostly from the 1940s to the 1950s. We looked carefully at the stills, and we believe most of them to be theatrical originals, with a few re-releases or TV stills, but no repros or re-strikes. Note that all of these stills were attached to album pages with double-stick tape on the back. All have the tape still on the back, usually with paper residue covering most of the tape. However, a bit of the tape shows through on some of them to where they are slightly "sticky" (this can be removed using lighter fluid or Bestine, but one needs to be very careful doing it). Each still is in an individual plastic bag with a cardboard in it, both to help display them, and to prevent the back of the still from slightly sticking to another still. Please bear in mind these defects before bidding on this lot of stills. We do not provide a list of these stills, but there are images of all of them (some of the stills do not identify either the movie or the people pictured). Condition: good. Each of the stills has double-stick tape and some paper residue on the back (see above). Each is in its own plastic bag and board, and has been photographed through the plastic.
