Sylvan Simon romantic college university comedy melodrama ("Sensational story of a dance hall beauty crashing society's playgrounds!"; about a "low class" beautiful young "taxi-dancer", who meets a rich society college student who is drunk, and he invites her to a school function, and when he sobers up, he doesn't remember her, but she shows up, and is put down by the society girls there, but she wins them over and becomes the most popular girl there!) starring Lew Ayres, Lana Turner (only 18 years-old and in her very first starring role!), Tom Brown, Richard Carlson, Jane Bryan, Anita Louise, Marsha Hunt, Ann Rutherford, Mary Beth Hughes, Owen Davis Jr., Sumner Getchell, Peter Lind Hayes, and Don Castle NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had some tiny stains in the tip of Turner's nose, cheek, and upper lip, but they were a printing defect (see our image), because we have seen them in another example of this poster. The poster had extra creases on the foldlines, pinholes around the edges, and paper loss in the top right blank corner. It had some smudges in the blue background areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
