Louis Malle's Pretty Baby, the 1978 Louis Malle Louisiana pre-teen prostitute melodrama ("In 1917, in the red-light district of New Orleans they called her Pretty Baby."; "The image of an adult world through a child's eyes."; "Story by Polly Plat and Louis Malle"; about the marriage between a 12-year-old New Orleans prostitute and an older photographer set around the time of World War I; partially based on an interview by a former child prostitute!) starring Keith Carradine, Susan Sarandon, Brooke Shields (in the title role, and in her second movie role!), Frances Faye, Antonio Fargas, and Matthew Anton
