An Original 1933 (from the first release of this movie in Sweden) Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/2" [70 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) The Passionate Plumber, the 1932 Edward Sedgwick romantic love triangle infidelity slapstick comedy ("A Buster Keaton production"; about a woman who is having an affair with a rich married man, and, to get him to break it off, she "hires" plumber Buster Keaton to pretend to be her lover, and she tells him to keep her from going back to her boyfriend, but then she tries to change her mind and he tries to protect her!) starring Buster Keaton (in the title role as Elmer E. Tuttle), Jimmy Durante, Irene Purcell, Polly Moran, Gilbert Roland, and Henry Armetta. Note that this was the first of Keaton's three movies with Jimmy Durante, who plays a chauffeur in this movie! Artist: Carl Gustav Berglow Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this this poster, with a great sexy image of plumber Buster Keaton intruding on a naked lady in her bathroom! Condition: fair to good. The poster has darkened somewhat. It has brown paper tape on the back of all four borders, with a piece of clear tape on the front of each corner (and wrapped around to the back). There is a piece of clear tape on the center of the bottom border. In the bottom center of the poster are tears and areas of paper loss, and also in the bottom left corner (in the green area, slightly extending into the background above it and to right of it). There are also tears in the back of Keaton's head, in his hair and in the background to the left of that. There is small paper loss in the top blank border and some stains in the top and bottom blank borders. But in spite of all these defects, the poster is perfect for restoration. The missing area at the bottom center can easily be recreated by any talented restorer, and the tears can be mended. After proper linenbacking by a top restorer, this poster will look incredible, and it will only have restoration in the exact areas described above! Learn More about condition grades
