An Original Vintage Magazine (measures 8 1/2" x 11 3/4" [22 x 30 cm]) (Learn More) Romances of Hollywood Movies, one of the many movie magazines sold to the public. The magazine had some "racier" content, including sexier images of stars! Each issue features a great full color cover of a leading star of the day, plus lots of interior publicity stories about current stars and movies with many black and white images throughout. Also, in every issue are many wonderful vintage ads, in black and white, and sometimes the ads can be just as much fun as the original stories and pictures. Of course, some of the ads are from movies that were about to open, and in the early days of eBay, people would remove those full-page ads and auction them by themselves, and they would often sell for $10, $20, or more, just for a single movie ad removed from a magazine just like this! Note that this magazine is extremely similar to "Broadway and Hollywood Movies". Clearly they were either published by the same people, or one of the magazines changed into the other. If anyone knows more about either of these magazines, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!). Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided. Condition: fair. There is paper loss in the bottom left corner of all pages and some paper loss in the top of the cover. Note that we have attempted to check to see if the magazine is complete and uncut, and we believe that it is. However, there is a slight possibility that we might have missed a small cut or a page that was neatly removed, and if that happens, you can return the magazine. We have solely provided an overall description of the condition of the magazine, but you can also refer to our super-sized images.
