It was held from September 20th to October 5th, and movies shown included: The Lost Weekend, Gilda, Fall of Berlin, and many more. During the first festival, the jury was made up of one representative per country, with French historian Georges Huisman as the Jury President. Artist: Leblanc Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this French poster, which is for the very first Cannes Film Festival in 1946! Condition: very good to fine.
