Doyle), Thelma Ritter (as Stella), Raymond Burr (as Lars Thorwald), Judith Evelyn (as Miss Lonelyhearts), Georgine Darcy (as Miss Torso), Jesslyn Fax (as Miss Hearing Aid), Rand Harper, Havis Davenport (Harper and Davenport played the "newlyweds"), and Ross Bagdasarian (as the "Songwriter"). Note that Raymond Burr had appeared in movies for seven years before this, but always had minor roles, usually playing the "heavy". Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. Only the top 2/3 of the poster was present. That portion of the poster had paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and small paper loss on many parts of some foldlines. Overall, that portion of the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The person who owned the poster got a photographic reproduction made of the two photo areas from the missing bottom third, and then a restorer painted in the missing background area around it, including the Paramount logo in the bottom right corner. You can clearly see all of the above by looking at our super-sized image, and it is quite obvious that the bottom third has been replaced. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept this very significant defect described above and the way it was restored. IMPORTANT!
