The Shining Hour, the 1938 Frank Borzage New York City rich-man-marries-beautiful-poor-showgirl-and-his-family-is-horrified romantic love triangle melodrama ("Joan's a dancing bride!"; "Screen play by Jane Murfin and Ogden Nash"; "Based on the play by Keith Winter"; a complicated story of two brothers, their domineering sister, and their wives, and how the sister brings tragedy to all their lives) starring Joan Crawford ("On the outside I'm a lady -- on the inside I'm cheap!"), Margaret Sullavan, Robert Young, Melvyn Douglas, and Fay Bainter

Important Added Info: Note that this still is from a special set of "color glos" stills, which means it was printed on a photo type of paper and have a glossier front, with more vivid colors. This is something the studios experimented with in the late 1930s and early 1940s, for both 8x10 stills and 11x14 stills.
