An Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Peacock Feathers, the 1925 Sven Gade silent romantic newlywed melodrama ("From the sensational novel by Temple Bailey"; about a young couple who are both poor, and the girl won't marry him because he has no money, but then he inherits a western ranch, and they marry, thinking it is a big estate, but when they get there, they discover it is dilapidated) starring Jacqueline Logan, Cullen Landis, Ward Crane, George Fawcett, and Emmett King. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the lobby card was backed onto a heavy paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original lobby card (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the card had tiny pinholes and some smudges around the edges. Overall, the lobby card was in good to very good condition prior to paperbacking. The card was nicely backed, and displays well!
