An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Tiger Fangs, the 1943 Sam Newfield World War II (WWII) India Malaya jungle safari spy espionage anti-Nazi adventure crime thriller starring Frank Buck (the famed jungle explorer, as himself!), June Duprez, Duncan Renaldo, Howard Banks, and J. Farrell MacDonald. Note that June Duprez became a major star in England after the release of Alexander Korda's "The Thief of Bagdad". She went to Hollywood, but her agent thought she was a major star and wanted $50,000 per movie for her, and that priced her out of the market, so she only made a handful of movies. She then acted on Broadway for a while, and then married and returned to England. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had a nickel-sized area of paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds. There were tears and tiny areas of paper loss in the left of the top foldline and in the vertical foldline between the top and center crossfolds. There was minor wear on the other foldlines. There were creases, smudges, tears, and pinholes around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see slight signs of the restoration. Learn More about condition grades
