We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. It had tears, smudges and stains around the edges, entering into the yellow background in some areas. It had a long diagonal tear in the upper left that entered the small writing, and it completely separated that piece from the rest of the poster. It had a few smudges and scuffs scattered through the image. Someone paperbacked the poster, and did fairly minimal restoration to the border defects, but we still think it displayed pretty well when it was first backed. Over the years since then, it was roughly handled and it is now somewhat rippled and there is a 1" tear with a crease above it in the bottom center and a 8" crease in the bottom right with some other creases around the edges. If I owned this incredibly rare and historic poster, I would surely have a top professional re-paperback it, and after proper restoration it will display wonderfully. Please bear in mind the abveo defects and look at our super-sized image before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
