An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Killer's Kiss, the 1955 Stanley Kubrick New York City crime film noir gangster murder thriller ("Her Soft Mouth Was the Road to Sin-Smeared Violence!"; "Exposed! The Mobs, Molls, and Mayhem of New Yorks Clip-Joint Jungle!") starring Frank Silvera, Jamie Smith, Irene Kane, Ruth Sobotka (Kubrick's wife at the time), Jerry Jarret, and Mike Dana. Note that this movie is often mistakenly referred to as Kubrick's first, but actually, he had made four previous movies (three documentary short subjects, plus the 1953 feature, "Fear and Desire", which just about no one in the world seems to have ever seen or heard of)! Apparently, all of those movies and this one were financed by Kubrick's own family, and it was with his next movie, "The Killing", that he began making traditional Hollywood movies, with real movie stars in the lead roles! The poster is rippled throughout and it has a few areas of slight discoloration. There is separation and paper loss along several inches of the lower vertical foldline (see our image). It is otherwise "all there" and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
