He was known for his rebellious, sword fighting roles in many Jidaigeki silent films, and he rose to fame after joining the Tojiin Studio of Makino Film Productions in Kyoto in 1923. Some of his movies include: Orochi, Suronin Makaritouru, and Chizome No Jujika. He passed away in 1953 at the age of 51. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
