An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) King of the Pecos, the 1936 Joseph Kane Texas cowboy western ("Law and Order comes to the Lone Star State!") starring John Wayne, Muriel Evans, Cy Kendall, Jack Rube Clifford, Arthur Aylesworth, Herbert Heywood, Yakima Canutt, and Tex Palmer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fine. This poster was linenbacked and during the backing process, its defects were repaired and it now looks great! See below for its pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good to fine. There was small paper loss at the center of the top foldline and tiny paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds. There were pinholes in the corners and tiny paper loss at the center of the top blank border. Other than the above basically minor defects, the poster was in quite nice condition prior to linenbacking, and it was linenbacked quite nicely, and looks great now!
