He is best remembered for playing Sulu in TV's "Star Trek". Some of his other roles include: The Green Berets and TV's "Heroes". He has one of the most "liked" pages on Facebook, known for its incredibly witty posts! As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 84! Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by George Takei! Also note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, and pictures of interior two-page spreads (including the table of contents page if there is one; but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!). These images should greatly help you judge the overall condition of the magazine, and the contents page lets you know exactly what articles and stories are contained in this particular issue. Please know that these magazines are sealed in bags and are ready for shipping, and we cannot answer any questions about them or look through them for you, so please bid (or do not bid) based on the images we have provided. Note that this autographed item was consigned to us by a husband and wife who have been collecting autographs and other movie memorabilia for over 30 years! They have obtained some of it in person (at conventions or collectible shows where celebrities appeared) or they purchased them from reputable autograph dealers who had credentials with U.A.C.C., I.A.D.A-C.C. or the Manuscript Society. In many cases they obtained certificates of authenticity for individual items, and in those cases, we have photographed the COA and put it on the auction. In some cases, they received a COA for multiple items, or did not receive one, and in those cases, we do not of course picture one. They made every attempt to only buy authentic signed items, and we believe that all of the items from their collection that we are offering (as is true of all the signed items we are auctioning) are authentic. Condition: very good to fine. Note that we have attempted to check to see if the magazine is complete and uncut, and we believe that it is. However, there is a slight possibility that we might have missed a small cut or a page that was neatly removed, and if that happens, you can return the magazine. We have solely provided an overall description of the condition of the magazine, but you can also refer to our super-sized images.
