Newmeyer juvenile cowboy equine horse rodeo western action melodrama ("World's Greatest 'KID' Rodeo Stars!"; "Thirty RECKLESS RIDIN' RASCALS") starring The "Roy Knapp Reckless, Rough-Ridin' Rascals'", "Small Fry and Her Pony", "Slow-Burn" Vernon, Gloria Morse, Patricia Redpath, Fred Scott, Pat Dunn, Loie Bridge, Landon Laird, and Jack Cooper (not to be mistaken for Jackie Cooper, the famous juvenile actor in the 1920s and 1930s! Jack Cooper was an English actor from the 1910s to the 1940s who worked in the U.S. and was featured in Hal Roach and Mack Sennett movies in the 1920s) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a REALLY unusual poster! At some point in the very early 1920s, before regular 14x36 inserts (on a heavy paper stock) were made, studios came up with the idea of a "double insert", which was printed on a 27" x 41" paper, but had two identical images side by side! Theaters could buy one of these for the same price as a one-sheet and cut them down the middle, and have two posters for the price of one. Soon after these double inserts were made (surely because they proved popular) studios started making 14" x 36" inserts instead, and the only double inserts we have seen have been from the very early 1920s. But now we have been consigned this poster, which essentially seems to be half of a double insert, but it is not trimmed. We imagine it is just some special poster that was done in 1942, and we have never seen another (we have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning, and we have also only auctioned three lobby cards and one one-sheet for this title, but NO other movie paper for it whatsoever). Not only that, but we have never seen another of these 14" x 41" special posters from any date other than the very early 1920s. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. There are some tack holes and smudges around the edges and minor wear on the folds. Learn More about condition grades
