Note that Cary Grant had announced his retirement from movies in 1953, but he was lured out of retirement by Hitchcock to make this one. Also note that Jessie Royce Landis, who had played Grant's mother in "North by Northwest", this time played his potential mother-in-law, and yet, she was only eight years older than Grant, who had aged very well! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that the original 1955 set of cards from this movie is disappointing, because there are few good scenes. This #3 re-release card has a different kissing close up of Cary Grant and Grace Kelly from the one close up that is in the original set! Condition: very good. Some of the cards have slight scuffing within the image (mostly only noticeable in dark-colored areas). Card #2 has a faint tape stain in the left blank border and right edge, and a few light brown stains on the back of the lower right corner that slightly bleed through to the front. Card #1 has a piece of tape on the back of the left edge, and card #8 has a piece of tape on the back of the right and left edges, all of which slightly bleed through to the front but were not put there for any restoration purpose. Both of those cards have some slight surface paper loss on the back of the right edge that is slightly noticeable from the front. Overall the cards are in pretty nice condition and display well!
