Horne romantic slapstick comedy short ("A Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer All Talking Picture"; based on a story written by an uncredited Leo McCarey, later a very successful director!; produced by Hal Roach; Charley's girl insists they can't marry without her father's consent, and he goes to see the father, but instead meets an escaped lunatic, who he thinks is the father, and he has to try to win the man over!) starring Charley Chase (primarily remembered as a great silent comedian who appeared in 276 movies, most of them comedy shorts, Chase also directed 140 comedy shorts), June Marlowe (she is best remembered as Miss Crabtree, the teacher in the early sound Our Gang shorts, and here she is a brunette, rather than a blonde that she is in the Our Gang shorts), Dell Henderson, Charles K. French, and Harry Bernhard NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a scene lobby card (15 years ago) from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this second lobby card, which shows a completely different scene than the previous one! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There is a water stain down the bottom 5" of the left border with a few pinholes around the edges and a small tear at top center, but otherwise, the card is in nice condition!
