eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result DESTINATION UNKNOWN ('33) 1sh '33 Lease from Hershenson/Allen ArchiveAn Original Vintage One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More) Destination Unknown, the 1933 Tay Garnett romantic Pacific Ocean seafaring stranded-at-sea melodrama ("The mighty sea thriller!"; "Twelve men and a lone woman drifting on a derelict!"; "Story by Tom Buckingham"; a wild story of a ship that has a cargo of alcohol, and bootleggers seize the ship, but the engine dies and they are adrift at sea, and the crew members are trying to recapture the ship, and of course there happens to be a pretty woman on board, plus they are all running out of water!) starring Pat O'Brien, Ralph Bellamy, Betty Compson, Alan Hale Sr., Russell Hopton, and Noel Madison. Note that there is something very unusual about this movie which is that Pat O'Brien plays one of the bootleggers and an unpleasant person, which was VERY for him, because he almost only played very sympathetic parts, like priests!
