Mulford"; one of the long-running series of Hopalong Cassidy movies) starring William Boyd ("as Hopalong Cassidy"), Andy Clyde, Jay Kirby, Lois Sherman, Victor Jory, George Reeves, Douglas Fowley, and Robert Mitchum NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that Robert Mitchum had a very small part in this Hopalong Cassidy western. After he became famous with "The Story of G.I. Joe", William Boyd, who had purchased the rights to all the Hopalong Cassidy movies in 1944, re-released all of the Hoppy movies, but on the Mitchum titles, he gave Mitchum starring billing (sometimes as "Bob Mitchum") just under his own credit, because of his greatly increased popularity!
