An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Is the Father Black Enough (also released as "Night of the Strangler", "Dirty Dan", and more [see below]), the 1972 Joy N. Houck Jr. black African American blaxploitation interracial marriage murder investigation crime melodrama ("A Racist wind blows the dust from a Black man's grave to choke the honkies to death!!!"; "Nothing could stop... Dirty Dan"; "Women!! He finds them! Uses them! And then?"; "He did anything to Women!!"; "His Women were Young, Beautiful, & willing!!!"; "Carol- knew what she wanted!!") starring Chuck Patterson, Micky Dolenz (as "Vance"; a member of the rock 'n' roll group "The Monkees"), Michael Anthony, James Ralston (billed as "Jim Ralston"), Harold Sylvester, Warren Kenner, and Norbert Davidson, Susan McCullough (billed as "Introducing Susan McCullough"), and Ann Barrett. Note that this film went by several titles, likely in an attempt to find the right market for this forgotten turkey. Because of this, the movie was in first release from 1972 into 1973 as new campaigns/posters were created. The titles include: "Ace of Spades", "Is the Father Black Enough", "Dirty Dan", "Dirty Dan's Women", and finally "Night of the Strangler"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster has minor fold and border wear. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well!
