Trevenning, M.D. and Allan Stensvold, A.S.C.") starring Allan Nixon, Jacqueline Fontaine, Byron Keith, Johnny Martin, and Cliff Taylor. I wonder if the posters for this movie exaggerate what you see on the screen just a LITTLE, and I wonder who the girl ended up choosing for "her mate", the man or the beast? According to the IMDB this low budget movie premiered in El Paso Texas in 1955 and then was released more widely (probably in roadshow releases) the following year. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top and bottom crossfolds, pinholes in the corners, and minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
