A whole world ablaze as the jungle strikes back at those who would violate its secret code!"; "I'll show you the mysteries. The wonders of the jungle's savage heart!"; "Jeweled secret city. guarded by the jungle's fiercest denizens!"; "It's out of this world! More thrills. More excitement than the killer tiger has stripes! The thousand and one secrets of the jungles of India revealed at last in wonderful Technicolor!"; "Unveiled before your wondering eyes. The romance of mystic India. The savage jungle's secret charms. In this new kind of motion picture!"; "Mowgli, half-boy, half-wolf. armed only with a knife and the love of a girl, meets the challenge of Shere-Khan, the Killer Tiger!"; based on the classic story by Rudyard Kipling; produced by Alexander Korda) starring Sabu Dastagir (as Mowgli, billed simply as "Sabu"), Joseph Calleia, John Qualen, Frank Puglia, Rosemary De Camp, Patricia O'Rourke, and Ralph Byrd. Note that Walt Disney remade this movie in 1967 in a cartoon feature, and in 2016, Walt Disney again remade the movie, this time with CGI animals! Note that these come from a longtime collector who collected 1930s to 1950s horror stills from the late 1960s through the early 1990s. He knew that there were some stills (especially great ones) that were SO scarce that he might never acquire them, so on those, he would purchase high quality 8" x 10" reproductions (we know he acquired most of those in the early 1970s, especially because he "date stamped" many of them with when he received them!). We are auctioning a large number of his repro horror stills (including many from great 1930s and 1940s Universal horror titles) in many bulk lots in this set of auctions. This is a rare opportunity to acquire nice reproductions of extremely scarce stills (including fantastic images we have never seen before)! Note that in our last set of bulk lot auctions, we auctioned a large number of similar groups of repro stills, but those came from a different longtime collector, and those were primarily from 1950s sci-fi titles, while these are primarily from horror titles!
