An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Handy Andy, the 1934 David Butler romantic screwball comedy ("Fun - Romance - Thrills with WILL A Country Druggist"; "It's greater than 'David Harum'"; "More fun than ever!"; "Based on the play 'Merry Andrew' by Lewis Beach"; about a small town druggist married to a woman who wants bigger and better things, and she gets him to go on an expensive vacation where a gigolo romances her while he plays golf, and her husband becomes insanely jealous and ends up in jail) starring Will Rogers (in the title role as Andrew 'Andy' Yates), Peggy Wood, Conchita Montenegro, Mary Carlisle, Roger Imhof, and Robert Taylor (eternally youthful male star of the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s; this was his very first movie, and he was sixth billed!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images). Learn More about condition grades
