McLeod romantic vaudeville screwball comedy ("The Nitwits of the Networks... give you laughs and tears, thrills and spills, songs and music, dancing and romancing!"; a really crazy story of a rich man who has a daughter romanced by a gold-digging boyfriend, and to test the boyfriend, he makes it look like his other daughter, who is played by Gracie Allen, is inheriting all of his money, to see if the boyfriend switches his affections to her; Gracie misunderstands and starts trying to give away all her father's money by turning their mansion into a boarding house for hundreds of out-of-work actors; George Burns plays the millionaire's secretary) starring George Burns, Gracie Allen (in the title role as Gracie "Cookie" Allen), George Barbier, Betty Furness, Andrew Tombes, and Broadway's Favorite Vaudeville Headliners NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: good. The still was used in a newspaper or magazine, and there are gray paint lines around the upper part of Burns' and Allen's figures.
