What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small tears and tiny paper loss on parts of the folds. It had stains, writing, and paper loss in the top and bottom blank borders. Someone mounted the poster many years ago onto a thin linen and did amateur restoration to the border defects. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster can certainly be removed from the thin linen and properly restored, but bear the above in mind before bidding.
