Green pre-World War I (WWI) military spy espionage airplane aviation pilot musical melodrama ("Heroes of the air, Heroines of the Earth, whose sacrifice was greater?"; with music by Jerome Kern and Otto Harbach; set in France just prior to World War I, where the daughter of a French spy is ordered to romance a German aristocrat; her fiance doesn't know, so he joins the French Lafayette Escadrille as a flyer; later, she has a chance to warn him so that he won't be killed, but she is discovered, and he is captured, and both of them, together with her father, are sent to the firing squad!) starring Jack Whiting, Irene Delroy, and Frank McHugh.
