An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Martin Sheen (born Ramon Antonio Gerard Estevez) is an Irish/Hispanic actor from the 1960s to the present. Some of his roles include: Apocalypse Now, Wall Street, The Subject Was Roses. Badlands, TV's "The Execution of Private Slovik", and he starred in TV's "The West Wing" as The President of the United States. He is a major political activist (he has been arrested many times at demonstrations) and he is the father of Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez. He started acting at a time when Hispanic actors had very limited acting choices, and he chose his stage name partially to hide his ethnicity (the Sheen came from Bishop Fulton Sheen). It took a number of years for him to achieve significant success, and his first big success was on Broadway in The Subject Was Roses (he also played the same role in the movie version). He never changed his name legally from Ramon Estevez, and he said that he regretted using a stage name! As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 80! Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Martin Sheen! Note that this autograph comes from the collection of Jimmy Bangley. He was an ardent movie buff who worked for Star Wares in Los Angeles, and he went to every event he could where he might meet stars and obtain their autographs! Condition: very good to fine. The REPRO is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
