An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Ken Maynard stock, the 1930s (likely 1933 or 1934) Universal stock poster used by movie theaters to advertise Ken Maynard cowboy western movies. Theaters would order this poster, which has a blank area at the bottom of the poster where the studio would overprint the title of a specific movie (or glue a snipe to that area with the name of the movie they were showing), thus getting many posters for the price of one. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. A snipe was removed from the lower blank area of the poster. It has somewhat darkened. There are some creases and tears of varying lengths around the edges of the poster (1" or less). There is wear, small bits of paper loss and several areas of separation along the foldlines. Many of the defects and/or tears described above have been repaired with several pieces of tape from the back.
